yes , can anyone help me with some info.. i have had many many nerve blocks, my question is , i had 4 done the same day the same time, not ganlein(this is what the dr stated) nerve blocks but ones that the dr claims, no one else knows how to do them and they last 3-6 months, they did not last a day, well they surely did not,, i thought the purpose of nerve blocks was to get one at a time and keep track of how much pain, got better , worse and duration or is this simply for ganlein nerve blocks... you see being from fl i went to a another dr and he told me no one else knows how to give nerve blocks,this i truely did not believe.. i just wanted to hear from others and tell me or give me some info.. as i am an electrical shock victim also...any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. thanks
I also am an electric shock survivor. I live in the middle part of the USA. I had several nerve block shots, I don't remember what they was called but some were under x-ray. None of them worked, they didn't stop any pain. The doctors finale words were "I guess your electrical shock did more than we thought". I had told them this for 3 years, but they didn't listen to me, it's just my body, I don't know anything, so they thought.

I don't understand your doctor saying no one else knows how to do nerve blocks. I think he is the one that don't know what he is doing, I would check with other doctors or like you are doing here, and that is check with other people.
Are you a Lightning Strike & Electric Shock Survivor Int., Inc. member? They really helped me on coping with my pain and knowing I am not alone with my problems, also they help me know I'm not CRAZY, I really do have pain. Most doctor see you and you look the same so how could you have so much pain. I had a small wound where the electricity entered and one small place where it exit, No burns so how could I have that much pain, doctors DO NOT understand lightning or electricity damage.
