I too was Injured twice by electricity and recieved no medical help. Was hit by lighting indirectly in 1984 and just recently shocked by a ac-dc welder 240v and @320 amps. on the 3rd of july 2003.
I have always lived with pain in the back,legs,arms and hands since the 1984 incedent. Doctors thought i was crazy and treated me for arthritis. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder in 2001 which i lived with since 1984. Was put on Paxil and Zoloft for it. Just wonder if there is some connection. Helped my sleepless nights too. 3-4 weeks on the meds my pain went away believe it or not. Was doing great till July 3 2003, when i was shocked again. This was the big one. Pain come on about 3 days after the injury and steadily got worse.
Crippling pain in the hands,feet,legs,back,shoulders,neck and knees.
2400mg of Motrin and 3 lorcet a day is what they gave me. It helped with the pain bigtime.
It is the 13th of September 2003 and i finally can do life ok so far, Knock on wood...and am not saying im healed.
Positive thinking Vitamins,Vitamins,Vitamins is what i think helped me. Im still not 100% but wish you all the best. Thanx for having this site up.It has been great to know im not nuts.
