On October 25,2001 I was working in Texas for Enron Wind Corp as a wind turbine electrical trouble shooter when I was shocked by 2 phases of 575 vac for 5 - 7 sec. since then Enron has gone belly up and my work comp carrier has been less than efficient in approving Dr. treatments. It has been almost three years and I've only experienced minimal degrees of releif. The muscel spasams have lessened, the tightness in my neck and back is less, but my memory is still lacking it's sharpness, and I still suffer badly from migranes, and I can't stand being outside very long in the sun even with sun galsses. I'm only 24 and I am unable to play with my 8 year old step son, who dosen't understand why I can't play outside and why the hiuse needs to be dark all the time. I have a good Dr. here in California who can't belive the fools I saw in the past for treatment. He listens to what I have to say and won't force any "PHD bs" on me. He has delt with other shock victims but admits that it is still a mystery what exactly is damaged in the brain by electricity. We have had some progress in pain management with combinations of headache meds and seiger meds (sorry for spelling). I have read on these boards about doctors who know more about shock victims, is there any way to network with my Dr. because I am unable to travel across country to see them.
