Hi Everyone,

As of yet nobody has posted anything about Workmens Comp. So I'm going to open this can of worms.
After the electrical accident WC offered the greatest of assistance to us. But at every cross road they're trying to be deceitful by changing Drs appts and not telling us. They send WC rehab nurses to every appt. She refuses to keep her mouth shut to our Drs. She tells lies about whatever other Drs say. She is a complete hindrance to my husbands getting well.
To date I haven't seen one thing she has done for us. Except to lie & be deceitful. I resent this immensely.I've went to WC asking for another rehab nurse or if this is necessary? I've co-operated as much as I can. Our lawyers have agreed.
My husband was hurt & needs help in getting well. We don't want to play these childish games WC seem to be famous for.
We own our own business we pay WC alot of money a year to insure our men working.This is the first accident that we have claimed on in 25 yrs of business. The accident wasn't our fault. The electric co mismarked there lines. WC will recover any & all money spent on this accident. That is a given! So why try driving us insane in the process?
I'm quite sure others have had problems with WC to. I sincerely hope we can let new comers to the site be warned to be very cautious of WC because they're only out to save there own butts, & themselves money. They ARE NOT out for your getting well in any possible way.They sincerely can appear to do that. The point is watch your backs!
Its not enough your severely injured, its very hard getting the help you need as it is. These rehab nurses they assign to you are unbelievable cruel, vicious morons without a heart. They smile from ear to ear,then go for the juggler. I honestly don't know how they can look into the mirror at themselves knowing they are out to destroy a person.
So anyone new coming here, please never ever trust WC or anyone associated with them. They are only covering there own butts trying to prove your a liar & your injuries are pre- existing.
Thanks everone for letting me vent. We are almost 9 months into this injury & only gotten grief from WC. I cringe when the phone rings.
The injury itself is devastating why should WC be allowed to mess with you too? I'd tell them off to the max but they do pay for the doctoring & send a check. So wow are you over a barrel. At every turn they remind me who is paying the bill & if I don't comply its non compliancy!
So they have control of you & your life. What they say goes. Your no more then a puppet on a string. The only way your free of there threats is if you have your own health insurance & financially set so you can tell them to take a hike down the road.
How about everyone else out there??? Whats your experience with these jerks?

Karen B...thank you for sharing your thoughts and story with us....I cannot tell you how happy I was to see your post..I hope many more share their stories with us.....and keep us updated on the progress they are making.....

I am interested in knowing if anyone has trouble acquiring medical treatment such as test etc.. and medicine that are necessary to control their medical conditions.....

I certainly agree....I am sketching out plans for a W/C site...so that we may share information, help those new to the system....those who are having difficulty with the system....

I am presently working on another site..and I hope to get that up this weekend now that I have the hang of of uploading etc to a URL.....

America was created by visionary people who wanted freedom....they used to call them firebrands....Everytime each and every one of you fight for your rights for care..a precedent is set and a strong message is layed into the foundation of the system that wishes to deny you your rights...

Be it W/C, auto accident, SSDI, etc...Litigation causes a great deal of stress that only makes a bad situation worse....People tell us not to worry about it...that it works out somehow...This is true but that doesn't mean we have to sit on our hands...For many of us body parts like hands do not function properly and may not work to any great extent but we must try...

We must tend to our needs, the needs of our family, friends, loved ones, acquaintances and yes even strangers...and each action makes a stronger base for those who follow....

Hello Everyone,

I just want to say a couple of things about W.comp& Insurance Comapnies and thier Doctors Nurses????? They all lie, the lie about injuries, they lie about what they say, what you say, the lie, lie, lie!! All whom is on W.Comp never ever think they do not watch you, they do, I have so many injuries I never thought they would watch me, but the did, and all be caareful, I did nothing wrong, but they do send a P.I. out to watch you 24-7. and for months upon months upon years, becareful!!!

i just wanted to let you know it is not just the w/c who send people out to watch you 24/7 i beleive you will find anyone involved in an injury they watch every little inch of you and not only that once your suit gets settled weather it be w/c or something else they can and will till follow you like i guess we are suppose to have a miracle cure and be are old selves, now get real maybe some see it as a way to make money but i sure in the hell do not know who those people are...we are injuried and we have to go thru hell , not only being in pain and everything in our lives changed but also the idiots of p.i. watching to prove something else....watch you back, neck , heck they probably have a damn camera stuck somewhere in the bedroom or bathroom also.

My husband and I are just getting into the WC situation. We have contacted an attorney and we pray that he is a help to us. WC not only has denied that any of my husbands symptoms are related to lightening strike but also have taken him off medicine that he really needed and attempted to send him back to work. We knew we were in for a fight. Just to let others know what the Attorney told us about the Nurse. He said that even though you have to cooperate with her she isn't allowed to go into the actual appointment with you. This is your private time with the Doctor. I don't know that it will provide help or not. We are being told that we have to choose Doctors from a list that WC gives us and that we can't choose from one not on thier list.

hi konnie: i do not know what state you are from but yes laws very from state to state but i can tell you , i do not go to any drs by myself, someone goes in the room with me, weather it is my own dr or there ime's, which i can tell you i will not go alone, i have done that before and got burnt badly but his lies, so i always have someone with me and taking notes also...i can also state that all attys are compensionate and understanding of there clients,in fact alot do not even know what lightning and electrical shock can do to the body, so it is also very very important to have an atty who is well aware of what this injury can do.. so you will not be burned in the end! believe my i speak from experience, i am very thankful to have a very caring compensionate atty, who also is aware of what this injury does, which is very very helpful , but this atty is compansion and caring for all there clients, a very rare thing to find.
